As tu relancé l'installation de Scangearmp2 après avoir installé la librairie manquante ? Il faut le faire.

Lors de l’installation il n'y a pas de recherche de scanner. Par contre une fois scangear2 installé, lorsque j'essaie de le lancer avec la commande "scangear2" le logiciel me dit qu'aucun scanner n'est détecté et si je fais une recherche de scanner, il cherche pendant 1-2 minutes puis me retourne le même message "pas de scanner détecté". Le scanner est bien en ligne, visible depuis un pc sous windows et la partie imprimante est fonctionnelle depuis mon pc sous LMDE.

C'est ça qui ne va pas! Lors de l'installation de Scangearmp2, le logiciel te permet de choisir si ton scanner est branché en USB ou en Wifi et ensuite il est détecté; il suffit alors de valider pour qu'il soit enregistré par le logiciel.

Et bien oui mais là je ne vois pas trop comment faire car l’instillation se résume à installation d'un simple paquet (dont géré par l’installateur de paquet). Je clique sur le fichier .deb, l'installateur de paquet se lance puis voila...

Autre solution mais qui revient au même : si j’utilise le script d'installation "install.sh" fournit avec scangearn téléchargé sur le site de canon et que je le lance depuis un terminale il s’exécute en 2 secondes puis la fenêtre du terminale se ferme donc là aussi à aucun moment je ne peux intervenir pendant l'installation...

J'ai trouver cela pour installer une imprimante qui n'est pas le même modèle que le tien mais il faut l'adapter

Merci pour le lien mais il n'explique qu'une procédure classique : executer le install.sh sans rien de plus et ensuite lancer scangear2 et selectionner le scanner. Scanner qui n'apparait pas chez moi....

Tu exécute ce script en root ? ou en utilisateur simple ?

Après je me demande si je fais bien une désinstallation "propre" entre deux essaies d'installation : je vais juqte supprimer le paquet "scangearmp2" via le gestionnaire de paquet synaptic

Et justement il ne faut pas l'exécuter en sudo le install.sh ! Si on le fait, soit on obtient un message disant qu'il n'existe pas, soit une install qui n'aboutit pas !
