Interpréter dmesg

Bonjour à tous,

Il est souvent demandé de lancer cette commande en cas de problèmes :

sudo dmesg


Je viens de l'essayer, et j'ai été surprise d'y trouver des lignes en rapport avec un raid 6.

Je n'aurais peut-être pas tilté si je ne voyais régulièrement défiler des lignes mentionnant aussi raid 6 dans les messages du démarrage.

Le précédent propriétaire du PC a pour habitude de mettre des raid en place.
J'ai déjà été en possession d'un de ses anciens ordinateur dans lequel il y avait des résidus de raid, c'est pourquoi j'aimerais avoir un avis.

Salut Mia,

difficile de te donner l'interprétation des lignes de dmesg (perso je n'ai pas de raid sur des systèmes utilisateur) mais :

problème avec le systemd qui donne des sommes de controle aléatoires (ce n'est qu'une supposition vu que je n'utilise pas le raid sur mes petits Pcs -aucun intérêt) : https://github.com/systemd/systemd/issues/4167

Ceci dit, je n'en sais guère plus .... faut que tu cherches de ce côté là : "systemd versus raid".
je serais toi je supprimerais les raids si tu n'en pas d'utilité.

La première chose que j'ai faite, avant d'y installer Mint 19, c'est de chercher s'il n'y avait pas un raid mis en place, et je n'ai rien vu.

J'ai suivi le lien que tu me proposes, mais ça n'est pas à ma portée.
J'ai vaguement compris que c'est lié à des tables de hachage pour initialiser certains services de façon sécurisée, qu'il faut que l'entropie soit suffisante, et que unrandom fournit le type exact d'entropie voulue. Quant à rattacher ces infos à mon problème de raid :?

L'autre PC freezait régulièrement, je m'étais dit que ça venait peut-être de ça, mais celui-ci fonctionne bien, hormis une perte de connexion à la sortie de veille, je vais peut-être laisser comme ça, à moins que tu penses que ça peut causer des problèmes.

J'ai choisi un titre de sujet qui peut peut-être me permettre de poser une autre question à propos de dmseg :D

Je dois souvent, en sortant de veille, relancer le service network-manager.
