Linux Mint ne reconaît pas Windows

Bonjour à tous,

J'ai un Asus GL552JX-DM072H. A l'origine avec Windows 8, mise à jour sur Windows 10. J'avais installé en dual-boot Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. :D

Avec l'envie de changement, j'ai voulu tester Linux Mint. Pour ce faire j'ai commencé par.... supprimer la partition d'Ubuntu. Du coup au démarrage Grub se lance mais ne trouve bien. Dans le Bios j'ai modifié pour démarrer sur Windows directement. Ensuite j'ai utilisé un live-CD de boot-repair.

Le soucis que j'ai est que dans le choix du bios j'ai toujours ubuntu qui apparaît... et quand je lance un live-cd de Linux Mint et que je démarre l'installation, celui-ci ne reconnaît pas Windows et me propose de toute effacer pour s'installer sur le disque. Je pourrais aussi créer manuellement les partitions, mais j'ai peur que ça créé un conflit avec Grub ou que je ne puisse pas lancer Linux Mint ensuite. :x :cry: :oops:

À la lecture de ton rapport de Boot Repair on voit déjà que tu as deux disques durs, ce que tu ne nous avais pas dit et qu'il y a un MBR sur le disque SDA et une partition UEFI sur SDB ! Pour résumer, je dirais que c'est confus pour ne pas dire que c'est franchement le bord...el :D. Je crains qu'il ne faille refaire du ménage bien propre, c'est à dire tout bien réinstaller mais d'autres, plus courageux que moi peut être, vont éventuellement trouver comment remettre tout ça en ordre.

Bonjour,

C'est normal que tu ai Ubuntu de proposé au demarrage
Tu as supprimé la partition Ubuntu mais pas le secteur de démarrage qui se trouve sur sda ,donc c'est normal que tu ais Ubuntu de proposé au démarrage
Il n’était pas besoin de supprimer Ubuntu , il te suffisait d'installer LM a la place d'Ubuntu ,ce qui aurait recréer le secteur de boot
Pour installer LM choisis plutôt "Autre chose" a cette page de l'installateur

et choisis la place libérée par la suppression de Ubuntu

Problème résolu !

J'ai supprimé Grub depuis Windows puis enlevé la ligne d'Ubuntu dans la liste de démarrage avec l'invite de commandes. Enfin j'ai lancé le live-CD => Windows reconnu, l'installation a pu se faire automatiquement. :)

En effet, peut-être que c'est le b*rdel.... à la base j'avais un disque HHD de 1To. Par la suite je l'ai formaté, j'ai rajouté un disque SSD de 500 Go sur lequel j'ai ré-installé Windows, puis Ubuntu (à l'époque).

N'oubliez pas de régler votre BIOS pour qu'il amorce sur le fichier sdb2/efi/.../grub*.efi !

Si votre ordinateur redémarre directement sur Windows, essayez de changer l'ordre de démarrage dans votre BIOS.
Si votre BIOS ne permet pas de changer l'ordre de démarrage, changez l'entrée de démarrage par défaut de l'amorceur Windows.
Par exemple, vous pouvez démarrer Windows, puis saisir la commande suivante dans une invite de commande en mode administrateur :
bcdedit /set {bootmgr} path \EFI\...\grub*.efi

Le forum possède son propre hébergeur d'image 8-)
Il serait bien de s'en servir, histoire de mettre les images en lieu sur et de manière définitive.
