Ce PC portable ASUS était sous Windows 10. Donc oui obligatoirement. Suite à un problème: https://forum-francophone-linuxmint.fr/ ... 69#p126538 il est maintenant que sous Linux Mint. Voici les manips que j'ai fais avant de perdre Windows: https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/uefi.

Oui, bon, dmesg ne résoudra rien par lui-même, mais il peut servir à rechercher les causes d'un problème. C'est une commande qui sert à voir les derniers messages du kernel, donc à utilisé juste après un (re)démarrage.

Ici, c'est le noyau 4.15.0-33 qui est utilisé, et celui-là st une vraie plaie qui amène une quantité incroyable de problèmes difficiles à résoudre. il peut très bien être à l'origine de ça. Depuis mon upgrade vers le 4.15.0-33 (le même), c'est chez moi la mise en veille qui ne fonctionne plus.

Malheureusement je ne sais pas si le le noyau 4.15 est le fautif. Je n'ai moi même pas l'expérience de ce noyau.
Mais mes divers lectures ici et ailleurs montrent bien qu'il y a beaucoup de problèmes avec ce noyau..
Arhglub, m'a fait remarqué sur d'autres sujets qu'il y avait beaucoup de problèmes d'ACPI avec le 4.15. Et l'ACPI dans le bios
c'est justement ce qui gère les modes de démarrage. Alors pourquoi pas?
Après il peut être possible qu'un réglage de l'ACPI dans bios règle le problème? Mais je ne pourrait t'aider car: 1) je ne connais pas ton Bios
2) ceux que je connais ont max 3 options pour l'ACPI alors que d'après ce que je vois le tient est beaucoup complet (genre démarrage à l'ouverture du capot et autres...).
Donc oui, Dundee, comme Lycaon, je te proposerai d'essayer le noyau 4.13, je ne sais pas si ça sera mieux, mais tu risques rien a essayer.
Au pire si ça ne fonctionne pas du tout tu as toujours la possibilité de démarrer sur le 4.15.
Le 4.13, car LTS et c'est le meilleur, le 4.16 est mort, le 4.17 EOL...Donc le 4.13 est le meilleur choix.

Désolé, je n'ai pas la solution :oops:

PS: je pense que le secure boot est toujours désactivé, sinon tu ne démarrerais jamais, mais vérifie toujours, ça ne mange pas de pain, ces bios UEFI ont des comportements étranges parfois. :roll:
PS2: le warning concernant l'ACPI dans ton dmsg est inoffensif, il vient souvent après le chargement du pilote Nvidia, je l'ai, pratiquement
tout les utilisateurs du pilote propriétaire Nvidia, l'ont, sans incidence sur le bon fonctionnement du PC (enfin....normalement :l ).

A l'affichage du grub, tu sélectionnes le nouveau noyau pour démarrer.

Ensuite si tu es satisfait du nouveau noyau regarde la: Tuto de Karami, pour enlever l'ancien (ce n'est pas une obligation).
Les points 1 à 4 ne te concernnent pas vu que le noyau 4.13, n'est pas proposé par LM19. Dans ton cas c'est ukuu qui fera le boulot.
En revanche les points 5 à 11peuvent t’être utiles, en particulier pour démarrer le PC sur le bon noyau.

Tu es sous LM 19, tu dis que tu as appliqué toutes les MàJ, mais pourtant tu n'as que les noyaux 4.15 qui sont installés. Normalement tu devrais avoir aussi les 4.16 et 4.17 au moins, non ?

Dans l'autre topic, tu dis que tu as fait une install avec le boot déporté sur clé USB. Est-ce que ce boot déporté combiné avec la désinstallation de W$ n'aurait pas rendu le système inexploitable ?

Question subsidiaire: est-ce que tu as utilisé grub customizer ?

Oui ! pas une co****rie du tout, mais je lui déconseille d'installer le 4.16 qui est mort et le 4.17 en fin de vie. Le 4.13 est une valeur sûre et surtout il est LTS et pas besoin du 4.18 sur ce matériel.

Ceci n'a rien résolu sur le reboot. Je n'ai pas grub qui s'affiche normalement au début, mais en passant sur mon ASUS par la touche 'échap' j'affiche la liste du bios et par je verrais bien si je peux faire apparaître Grub. ;)

Voici la version de Mint que j'ai installer: linuxmint-19-mate-64bit-v2 La version du noyau 4.13 ne figure visiblement pas dedans. :? Je suis en simple boot et donc sans Grub au démarrage. :roll: Si à aucun moment je n'ai besoin de faire un redémarrage pour une mise à jour ......... je peux faire avec. ;) La fonction Arrêt tout comme Démarrage fonctionne très bien. Par-contre ce problème peut arriver à quelqu'un autre.

Pour savoir sur quel noyau (kernel) tu es, il te suffit de saisir dans un terminal :

Le noyau 4.15 pose quelques soucis à certains d'entre nous selon le matériel (perso pas de souci, mais ça dépend de chacun).
Pour rétrograder de noyau, redémarre et dans le grub au démarrage (appuie sur la touche <Maj> s'il n'apparaît pas), vas dans les «options avancées», sélectionne un noyau antérieur pour démarrer dessus.

Puis, si tout va bien, il faut désinstaller la dernière version du noyau qui mettait le souk.
Pour cela, dans ton gestionnaire de mises à jour, vas dans le menu «Vue > Noyaux Linux».

[EDIT] si tu veux installer des noyaux inferieur au 4.15 dans LM19, le plus simple est d'installer le logiciel ukuu :
