Bonjour,
j'ai un soucis de visibilité Wifi depuis pas mal de temps.
Alors, pour résumer, j'ai installé Mint il y a pas mal de temps sur un ancien portable Dell Inspiron 1545,
et je ne vois le wifi de ma box ni de mon répétiteur qu'une fois tous les jamais sur ce PC.
Etant fixe dans un bureau, ça m'a saoulé au bout d'un moment et je l'ai branché en ethernet, tout fonctionne nickel au niveau réseau filaire depuis ce temps là.

Par contre, j'ai depuis qq jours récupéré un Samsung Notebook RC520, démarré avec une clé boot Linux (linuxmint-20.3-cinnamon-64bit), et pareil,
mon réseau Wifi est totalement invisible avec ce PC.

Je précise, tous les bidules connectés de la maison voient très bien la box ou le répétiteur,
j'ai aussi un portable préhistorique avec un vieux Linux qui se connecte sans soucis au wifi.
Si je démarre ce PC sous windows... Pas de soucis, je vois le Wifi.

J'habite en Belgique et j'ai une BBOX, j'ai été jeter un oeil dans sa config et je n'ai rien trouvé de bizarre.
Ma box donne du Wifi 2.4 et 5g non unifié et je ne vois aucun des deux.

J'ai déjà pas mal cherché sur le net, je n'ai rien trouvé de bien concluant.
Dans mes essais pour connecter le Dell, j'ai remarqué que " parfois " le wifi apparait quelques minutes et ensuite disparait à nouveau.
J'avais fait un tas de manip, sans réels résultats.

Si quelqu'un avait un début de réponse je lui en serait très reconnaissant.

J'ai oublié de préciser que je vois parfaitement les réseaux wifi des voisins, juste mon réseau est invisible !

ps: je me demande s'il n'y a pas une incompatibilité à la con entre ma box et Linux, vu que tous les autres appareils voient mon wifi et que les pc problèmatiques voient le wifi des voisins.

Bin, je pense comme toi (pas spécialement entre ta box et linux, mais entre ta box et la carte wifi avec le pilote ou sa configuration fourni pour linux) car tout a l'air bon.
Ça serait pas une histoire de bande de fréquence? Genre ta box émet en 2.45 Mhz et ta carte wifi réceptionne en 5 Mhz...Ou l'inverse.

ma box émet sur les deux fréquence séparément, et je vois les deux réseaux sur les smartphone Androïd.

Pour ta question, je pense qu'on se rapproche du problème.

BANG !! Je viens de regarder et je vois les réseaux de la maison tout d'un coup (mais pas le 5G), juste après avoir fait la commande que tu as spécifié.
J'ai pu m'y connecter sans soucis.

Je redémarre pour voir si ça fonctionne toujours.

Sujet archivé (en lecture seule) car plus de 2 mois sans réponse.
Si besoin de rouvrir faire un MP à un membre de l'équipe
