Bloquage portable HP Pavilion

Bonjour à tout le monde,

J'utilise mon portable (caractéristiques en signature comme requis) de manière quotidienne et je dirai, intensive : démarré le matin, utilisé tout le long de la journée pour le boulot, et jusqu'à tard le soir pour les loisirs, rarement éteint en fait, sauf pour le transporter, je me déplace beaucoup, tant pour le taff, que pour raisons personnelles. Ce portable est à la fois mon bureau nomade et mon home theater mobile.

Mais voilà, depuis le passage à ulyanna, j'avais quelques blocages : clavier qui ne répond plus, horloge figée (malgré le temps qui passe), et seule solution pour sortir de ça, éteindre la machine (arrêt prolongé sur le bouton on/off) et redémarrer. Cela n'arrivait pas vraiment souvent, mais régulièrement, 2 à 3 fois par semaine. Agaçant, mais pas dramatique, en plus à ce moment, je n'avais pas le temps de chercher comment régler le problème.

Or, depuis le passage à Uma, qui s'est fait sans problème, ces blocages deviennent fréquents : jusqu'à 3 fois par jour ! Pas pratiques et pénible.

Et nouveau problème, quand je n'ai pas de blocage, et que je veux éteindre la machine via le menu idoine, la procédure se lance, mais très souvent, l'écran se bloque sur le logo de Mint et la machine reste figée ainsi, sans s'éteindre, même 2h après (j'ai mesuré cette après midi). Là encore, seule solution, éteindre la machine par un arrêt prolongé sur le bouton on/off.

J'ai un peu de temps devant moi pour bidouiller là, mais j'ai besoin de vos conseils éclairés.

Je dirai
1/ Regarder les logs à la recherche d'erreurs
2/ Utiliser un truc style glances ou bpytop voir l'utilisation CPU et rechercher si un process tend à la faire grimper
3/ Etre sûr que le système soit à jour
4/ Essayer un autre DE : xfce, mate, ... à la place de cinnamon
5/ Tester une LMDE ou une Debian si tu as un peu de temps....

Bonsoir, merci des suggestions alors :

1/ Regarder les logs à la recherche d'erreurs => peux-tu me dire la marche à suivre pour ça, stp ?
2/ Utiliser un truc style glances ou bpytop voir l'utilisation CPU et rechercher si un process tend à la faire grimper => ok, je vais faire ça et je fais un retour dès que possible
3/ Etre sûr que le système soit à jour => il l'est
4/ Essayer un autre DE : xfce, mate, ... à la place de cinnamon => sauf que pour faire ça, je fais quoi à part réinstaller un système ou créer une machine virtuelle ? ça me paraît chronophage malheureusement
5/ Tester une LMDE ou une Debian si tu as un peu de temps.... => même réponse que précédemment et j'ajouterai : je ne suis pas sûr d'avoir les compétences pour me débrouiller avec Debian et consort, c'est pour ça que j'ai choisi Mint, un truc simple qui me permet d'avoir une bécane fonctionnelle et pas tous le temps les mains dans le cambouis. ;)

2/ Ai repensé à ce lien

4/ Pas besoin de réinstaller, Linux a un serveur X qui permet de lancer autant d'environnements graphiques que souhaités.
Tu choisis simplement ton environnement lors de la connexion X
Pour installer xfce par exemple

Code : Tout sélectionner

sudo apt install xfce4 xfce4-goodies file-roller
Te délogguer et te relogguer sous une session xfce et non plus mate (il y a une icone à cliquer avec une liste déroulante)

5/ Oui là il faut réinstaller. Ensuite Debian ou LMDE n'est guère plus compliqué de Mint ;)

2/ J'avais déjà installé Glances et il semble que je sollicitais trop la machine, parfois, avec Firefox, trop de fenêtres ouvertes sans doute. Je me suis calmé.

Quand tu cherches des erreurs dans les logs, tu peux utiliser un "tube" afin de limiter l'affichage . Comme par exemple

Code : Tout sélectionner

sudo dmesg | egrep 'error|fail'

Et oui , faut pas ouvrir plein d'onglet avec FF.... sinon plantage assuré.....
Essayé déjà d'en restreindre et vois comment ton système se comporte

Pour le reste, que veux tu : Firefox c'est l'outil essentiel pour moi, toujours à courir après des infos (boulot et loisirs) et j'oublie que la portable c'est plus limitant que mon fixe à la maison... :oops:

Bon, journée compliquée aujourd'hui, pas eu le temps de faire joujou avec le portable :evil:

Par contre, hier soir, au moment de l'extinction, je pensais être tranquille car normalement, ça bloque quand l'icône de Mint s'affiche... Et justement, hier soir, tout s'est figé après la disparition de la dite icône... Tout figé, écran noir et ordi encore sous tension, même après 20' d'attente...
