Impossible d'installer une imprimante (Brother)

Bonjour,

Je souhaite installer les pilotes pour une imprimante Brother (HL-L5100DN).

J'ai récupéré le "LPR printer driver (deb package)" sur cette page : https://support.brother.com/g/b/downloa ... &type3=559

J'ai suivi les instructions (sauf le point 3. car je n'ai pas trouvé le fichier correspondant).

L'imprimante n'est toujours pas reconnue...

Note : J'ai d'abord installé une autre imprimante (Brother HL-L2300D) avec la même méthode que ci-dessus. L'imprimante était reconnue par Linux mais ne marchait pas (elle ne marchait déjà pas sur un autre système d'exploitation). Voici le contenu du fichier /etc/printcap :

Et donne nous tout ce que tu as tapé pour l'install et les retours

ça serait bien , j'ai installé sur le wlan une brother DCP-J725DW avec et tout fonctionne. Ne pas oublier de lui attribuer un bail dhcp fixe dans le modem_routeur/Box, c'est mieux.

J'ai installé aussi sur quatre ordis Linux différents une imprimante réseau multifonctions Laser Brother en wifi en utilisant l'outil combiné proposé par Brother sur son site et ça a fonctionné parfaitement à chaque fois. J'ai moi aussi donné une adresse IP fixe ( en fait un bail DHCP statique) pour éviter les pertes de connexion.
