Souci double affichage

Bonjour

Merci de m'accepter parmi vous....je suis un nouvel adepte de Linux Mint et je viens d'installer la dernière version (Virginia)

Tout (enfin presque) s'est bien installé hormis le fait que mon ordi ne reconnait pas mon vidéoprojecteur connecté en HDMI
(l'écran de mon PC est VGA)

J'ai comme le sentiment que c'est un souci de driver vidéo....car même les fichiers standards saccadent...
Pourtant mon PC à jour...??

Que dois-je faire...??

Redémarre et dis nous ce qu'il en est.
