Bonjour.

Même si ça fait 8 ans que je suis sous linux (par idéologie), j'y connais pas grand chose mais j'arrive d'habitude à m'en sortir en grattant un peu. Là, non!
Alors, après plus d'une journée à tenter d'installer ma nouvelle imprimante canon maxify mb 2750, je suis un peu désespéré et je vous appelle à l'aide!
Je suis sous linux mint 20.1 ulyssa.
L'imprimante est connectée par USB.
Pas de souci avec le scanner.
Au début, quand je voulais imprimer une page test, l'impression stagnait à 30% et l'imprimante crachait des dizaines de feuilles blanches sans s'arrêter.
Là, j'ai cherché des pilotes et installé la dernière version de cnijfilter.
Maintenant, quand je veux imprimer une page test, elle s'arrête à 1% et l'état de l'imprimante est : Inactif. Je ne comprends pas ça parce que sous l'onglet comportement, dans "état", sont cochées les 3 cases suivantes : "activée", "acceptation des tâches d'impression" et "partagée".

Est-ce que quelqu'un ou quelqu'une a une solution (autre que de passer sur windows ou de revendre l'imprimante pour acheter une hp)?
Je donne sûrement des infos inutiles (je comprends pas tout) mais j'espère que je n'ai pas oublié des infos utiles.

Je vois qu'elle est Wifi.

J'ai moi aussi une canon que je voulais installer en Wifi sur le Mac de ma femme. Mince plus de driver wifi.

Qu'importe , j'ai réussi à l'installer dans le cups de MacOs en protocole lpd (je t'invite à le tenter avec le cups sous linux en protocole lpd, pas le plus moderne certes et a ses inconvénient lenteur à ce que j'ai pu comprendre) , les autres protocole d'impression ne fonctionnant pas visiblement avec les CANON)

le poste semble résolu et du notera que l'auteur dis que sous ubuntu elle est reconnu nativement depuis la 20.04 = Linux Mint Ulyana 20.0

donc peut être que choisir un noyeau plus récent que le 5.4 (une des versions (5.8x) sous ta linux mint pourrait suffire à ce que ça marche.

Comme je ne maîtrise pas vraiment, peux-tu m'expliquer comment tu sais que mon kernel est un 5.4? C'est celui qui correspond à ulyssa?
Et peux-tu me dire aussi comment tu vois que l'imprimante est en wifi? Je l'ai connectée en usb.
j'ai oublié dans mon post précédent de mettre le rapport de débogage. Si quelqu'un peut me traduire, je serais très content!

tu vois le noyau installé en faisant uname -r à l'invite

sinon tu peux augmenter de version de noyeau (c'est dans un menu du gestionnaire de mise à jour)

Sinon je n'ai pas dit que tu étais en wifi, mais que ton imprimante pouvait aussi fonctionner avec le wifi et que grace à ça
moi j'avais pu configurer une imprimante dont je ne trouvait plus les pilotes sur le site du fabricant, en utlisant une vieille méthode de communication réseau. Mais compte tenu des connaissance que tu as actuellement je pense, qu'il vaudrait mieux rester sur une connection avec les bons pilotes

Et je ne comprends pas sur le site il y a tout ce qu'il faut (les paquets .deb pour ton imprimante et son scanner) , c'est sur le site est mal fouttu et je n'arrive pas moi-meme à les télécharger , je regarde. (si tu t'y connais pas trop cette solution est plus sur que d'upgrader ton noyeau)

Je pense pouvoir tenter d'augmenter la version de noyau si on me décrit la manière de le faire depuis le gestionnaire de mise à jour (mais je comprendrais bien que tu n'aies pas le temps de le faire).
Pour cette histoire de wifi, je pense que tu as raison, ça me parait hors de portée! Et j'imagine que c'est tout aussi au delà de mes capacités en filaire. Non?
Tu parles bien du site canon? J'ai essayé mais je les télécharge pour debian en .tar et je n'arrive pas à les rendre exécutables, alors je les extrais et la j'exécute le fichier install.sh, ce qui ne semble pas fonctionner.
Pour le lien que tu m'as fourni vers l'autre forum, je vais m'y pencher à nouveau, parce que j'étais un peu fatigué par tout ce temps à galérer et j'avais l'impression d'avoir déjà tenté les solutions proposées.

J'ai ré essayé d'installer cnijfilter2_5.40-1_amd64.deb d'après les infos du lien que tu m'as fourni et le gestionnaire d'archive me confirme que la même version est déjà installée. (Je l'avais fait via le terminal d'après les instructions d'un autre forum).

, car je me rends compte que mine de rien, ce qui nous semble évident (invite) , ne l'est pas pour un débutant.

Personnellement, je tenterais l'ultime recours qui semble-t-il fonctionne, selon la discussion du lien ubuntu, tenter de voir si un noyau plus récent résoudrait nativement le problème.

Et là , sous linux, procéder logiquement , par étape et méthodiquement , est une démarche conseillée.

- Donc pour mettre cnijfilter définitivement hors de cause dans d'éventuels problèmes avec ton imprimante qui n'ont rien à voir avec ce paquet :

désinstaller proprement ton imprimante actuelle (aller sur l'icone et supprimer imprimante)

désinstaller (au moins temporairement) cnijnetfilter

- installer un noyau plus récent

Gestionnaire de mise à jour vue -> Noyaux > Lire attentivement les consignes de redémarrage (en cas de problème) , et installer le dernier noyau 5.8

- aller dans le menu graphique ajouter une imprimante et tester

et là si ça ne marche toujours pas tu pourrais rententer de réinstaller netfilter.

NB : La régle (ceinture et bretelle) toujours prendre des précautions (même s'il est assez peu probable que tu aies des problèmes) , avant de changer de noyau tu peux sauvegarder ta partition
systeme (avec Timeshift) pour revenir en arrière si tu ne t'y retrouves pas dans le démarrage avancé du gestionnaire de démarrage en cas de problème de rédémarrage.

Je viens de passer à l'instant sans problème de 5.4 à 5.8. Pour ton info, le changement de noyau peut étre problématique, si lorsqu'entre temps tu as installé des choses exotiques non libres style driver de carte graphique (...)

Et encore , il y aura toujours quelqu'un pour t'aider ici...

je repensais à ton sujet en me rappelant une mise en garde sur la maj vers linux mint 20.1 concernant l'impression et
que je vois revenir ici souvent avec des gens qui ont des problèmes divers et variés malgré l'installation des bons drivers.

il s'agit de s'assurer qu'un paquet problématique soit bien désinstallé (ippusbxd)

Lire explication si t'es intéressé :

Donc , Avant d'en arriver à la grosse artillerie (changer de noyau..)

teste la chose suivante

lance la commande ;

Code : Tout sélectionner

sudo apt purge ippusbxd

pour désinstaller ce paquet problématique

et ... par précaution désinstalle et réinstalle ton imprimante avec les .deb que tu avais récupéré , il y a de bonne chance que ton imprimante fonctionne normalement.
