Les joysticks sont un T16000 et son throttle de thrusmaster.
J'ai testé Star citizen avec une aide à l'installation trouvée ici :

N'étant pas suffisamment anglophone et débutant totalement sous linux, je n'en comprends malheureusement que quelques informations.
Pour confirmer, avant de répondre à ton message, j'ai été vérifier avec d'autres jeux steam car je n'avais testé que sur planeteSide2.
Planetside2 ne détecte pas les joysticks, mais warplanesWW2 et aeroflyFS2 flight simulator les détectent sans problème. Pour planetside ce n'est pas un problème car le joystick n'est pas du tout indispensable, et je ne l'utilisais que rarement.
J'ai chargé également flightgear (linux) et là aussi les joysticks sont bien détectés.
Pour en revenir à StaCitizen, j'ai testé différents "runners" sans plus de succès.

Certes intéressant mais auquel je ne comprends strictement rien
Après, ce n'est ni urgent ni grave en soi, je dispose d'un dualboot avec windows toujours accessible sur lequel le jeu tourne sans problème. C'est surtout que j'ai dans l'idée de m'en débarasser un jour (de windows, pas de star citizen) et que le plus tôt sera le mieux.
