Bonsoir voila des nouvelles ( mauvaises)
suite panne reseau sur Mint voila les opérations que j'ai effectué :
- sudo service network-manager stop puis restart , mais rien ne se passe : il renvoie une erreur " temps dépassé ..." mais reconnecte pas ; par contre le stop m'a supprimé l'applet " état réseau" du tableau de bord !
- je demarre Win 7 puis Endeavour dans Machine Virtuelle : internet ne marche pas !
- je stoppe Mint et la il refuse d 'arrêter ; écran noir et seul pointeur souris visible ! j’arrête par bouton reset du PC ( aie ,!! )
- je démarre Mx 19 : FF marche , pas de soucis , tout baigne
- j’arrête Mx et démarre Opensuse : pas de pb FF marche , tout baigne
- j’arrête Suse et redémarre Mint , et là pas possible " il m'indique emergency mode " !!! j'essaie "recovery" mode mais la rien non plus ,les options " réparer paquets " ou " fsck " ne font rien - l'état du système .
J'ai fait un dmesg (mais il y en a 75 pages , je joins les 10 epremières , si qq peut me dire qu'est ce qui est necessaire....

Donc j'ai 3 pb maintenant :
- faire demarrer Mint ( pb le + urgent )
- resoudre pb connection
- ajouter applet " etat reseau " du tableau de bord ( si une âme charitable peut m'indiquer comment on fait , je sais plus )

"Nawak "??? je vois pas la raison ; je rappelle que depuis le début par échange avec les forumeurs j'essaie de résoudre un pb très embêtant de perte d'internet ; je considère être le pire des pb pour mon usage perso . ( qui me fera un jour adonner Mint si je ne parviens pas à le régler )
Donc on m'a demande de faire un dmesg et je l'ai fait ( lors de la perte du signal ) ; il reste plus de 65 pages à transmettre si requis , j'ai un peu regarde mais je suis bien incapable de faire le tri seul .
Ce matin j'ai réglé mon pb de démarrage ( emergency mode ) et donc le sujet est clos ( pour ceux que cela intéresse j'ai fait deux essais : 1er par restor par timeshift mais sans résultat , 2eme par run fsck /dev/sda3 ( mon home ) et la il a trouvé et réparé des erreurs - tout ceci en session live ) .
Mon pb de reconnection a internet - sans faire arrêt marche de la box - reste lui entier .....

La raison est simple !!! ton titre se connecter a ethernet via le terminal .
Je pense plutôt que ton souci est un simple problème de connexion au réseau !! non ?? et pas d'une connexion via le terminal! non ?
Donc y a du nawak, soit dans ton titre, soit dans ton sujet . Ou alors c'est moi qui suis à coté de la plaque

C'est aussi une des solutions, toujours se diriger vers la simplicité si tu n'as pas envies de te prendre la tête ... donc si ca marche avec une autre distrib, tu serais bête de rester avec une qui ne te donne pas entière satisfaction...

oui, mais on ne sait toujours pas quel problème tu tentes de résoudre: tu recherches une commande terminal précise ou de l'aide pour régler ton problème de connexion ?

Je t'avais déjà posé la question, mais ta réponse est restée très confuse. Tant que ce n'est pas clair, il est impossible de résoudre le problème de manière rationnelle .... et ce quelque soit l'OS

Ce qui m'interpelle ce sont les lignes "BAR xx: no space for" et "BAR xx: failed to assign" qui sont présentes à deux reprises dans les logs que tu fournis.

D'après le site https://www.linuxquestions.org/question ... 175487043/ et selon "smallpond"ce serait soit un problème de conflit sur ta carte ou un problème de pilote qui n'a pas pu démarré. Ce ne serait pas un problème de BIOS ou de noyau.

"dbrazeau" aurait résolu sont problème voir plus bas sur la page.

MAIS c'est juste ce que j'ai remarqué dans tes logs. Tout cela dépasse mes compétences. C'est peut-être pas ça ton problème.

D'autres que moi sur ce forum pourront peut-être apporter leurs éclaircissements.

1-je confirme mon titre "se connecter à Internet via le terminal",car c'est bien le coeur du sujet;la rubrique du terminal me parait pertinente mais bien sur il y en aurait je suppose d autres.(mais c'est assez secondaire).
2-je prends note des remarques concernant la possibilité en temps réel de surveiller la connection et surtout du firewall;je vais essayer de chercher dans cette direction,merci bien.
3- lorsque je dis que la connection marche sur les autres distros ,c'est bien sur la réalité ,mais je crains que le fait de démarrer la distro ,fasse un reset de la connexion,et donc, reconnecte, ce qui ne ferait pas avancer .
Au prochain pb je redémarre Mint pour vérifier.Ceci confirmerait que cela ne marche dans les machines virtuelles portées par Mint.

j'ai depuis quelques temps des soucis de connexion a internet par voie filaire ;en effet le réseau ne se connecte pas au démarrage -ou à la sortie de veille - et je suis obligé de débrancher et rebrancher l'alim de la box et la ça repart .
Par contre sur le mobile j'ai accès à internet via le wifi de la box , ce qui me laisse penser que le pb vient de mon PC avec Mint et pas de la box .
Je cherche une solution via le terminal qui permettrait de faire un reset et de se reconnecter ; quand j'utilise les commande ifup ou ifdown avec le nom des connexions ( lo et enps20) il me renvoie " unknow connection" !!!
C'est assez pénible de brancher et débrancher une box qui de plus, n'a pas d’interrupteur Marche/Arrêt !!( merci free ) ; faut se baisser bien bas et rétracter et rebrancher le cable d'alim !!

suite panne hier soir ci joint les data connexion Ethernet et carte réseau ; je continue a mettre hors tension la box pour que cela reparte.....
Sur mon autre PC la connexion Ethernet a la même box fonctionne parfaitement; par contre mes autres distro ne marchent pas non plus , même en redémarrant ( contrairement à ce que j’avais cru qq jours plus tôt )
J'ai change mon câble de la box au PC mais rien n'y fait !!!
