Bonjour à tous et toutes,

Comme bien d’autres, je me casse les dents sur l’installation de Linux sur un portable Acer.

Je viens de réessayer pour la 10eme fois d’installer Mint sur ce portable qu’on m’a confié et impossible.

La dernière ligne de commande de l’installation via live-USB que j’ai avant que ça ne se bloque est :

Mint grub-installer: Installation pour la plate-forme x86_64-efi.

Avant ça, lors de mes précédentes tentatives, j’ai essayé plein de trucs :
- Boot-Repair en live USB,
- rEFInd,
- Montage de fichiers .efi à la main…

À chaque fois, les solutions semblent pointer vers le fait d’activer l’option « Select an UEFI file as trusted for executing » dans le BIOS sauf que cette option n’apparaît pas sur cet ordinateur (même en créant des mots de passe superviseur ou HDD dans le BIOS).

Initialement, l’ordinateur était équipé de Windows mais… récemment, lors d’une nième tentative j’ai effacé entièrement le disque dur avant d’essayer d’installer Mint (ce qui n’a pas résolu mon problème).

Alors, histoire de prendre les choses dans l’ordre, je viens d’essayer avec la 21.2 en live USB et le lancement se bloque à

J’ai bien essayé de lancer une console virtuelle mais ça reste bloqué, il ne se passe rien…

En ce qui concerne le BIOS :

- Impossible de modifier le Boot Mode, il est bloqué sur UEFI,
- Je viens de désactiver le Secure Boot,
- Quant à mettre mon disque dur en table de partition MBR, là il va falloir me guider un peu…

Ça se fait avec Gparted j’imagine ?

Ceci dit si tu restes en UEFI ton disque doit être en GPT, et si tu es en Legacy en MBR

Avec Gparted tu peux effectivement Changer la table de partition (MBR ou GPT) et formater des partitions. Tu peux aussi juste vérifier, menu affichage --> afficher les infos sur le périphérique.

Question annexe, as tu vérifié l'état de ton disque dur ?

Le blocage est au lancement de la session live (je n’arrive donc pas à la lancer et donc à accéder ensuite à Gparted ou autre…).

À vrai dire, j’étais parti sur la 19.3 car j’avais lu sur un cas similaire de problème de lancement en live-USB sur un ordi Acer que les versions antérieures arrivaient à se lancer et à s’installer (mais je n’arrive pas à retrouver le lien vers ce que j’énonce).

Je n’ai rien concernant l’option Fast Boot dans mon BIOS.

Quant au disque dur, j’en ai testé 2 différents, chacun de 1To et avec chacun les mêmes problèmes de lancement/install/Bios.

a fouiner un peu, je trouve pas mal de questions là dessus qui concerne les pc Acer et leur bios.

En effet, j’ai trouvé pas mal de sujets se rapprochant de mon souci mais beaucoup de solutions proposées nécessite d’avoir l’option
