Grub et mot de passe oublié

Bonjour à tous
J'ai bêtement oublié mon mot de passe.J'ai réussi à allumer néanmoins mon ordinateur mais impossible d'installer quoique ce soit sans le mdp. J'ai trouvé plusieurs procédures de réinitialisation en passant par le mode GRUB. L'utilisation des touches Esc et Maj ne fonctionnant pas pour passer sur ce mode, j'ai regardé le paramétrage et apparemment il est caché (cf. indication donnée par la commande cat ci-dessous). Or je n'arrive pas à modifier cela car lorsque j'utilise la commande sudo, le terminal me demande mon mot de passe....
Si quelqu'un a une astuce, je suis preneuse !
